No really angry but shaking my head at their foolishness. Basically nurses are always essential, especially after this wave dies down. So many people are getting unemployed, with it, the lower wage jobs will be flooded by them when it picks up. It's a fools gold to be mocking people that have sacrificed a few years for an iron-clad job while they are on unstable ground.

No Job? No Internet Access. Soon they will be the ones crying about the lack of jobs, despite jobs existing on farms. They would find those jobs too hard and quit on the same day.
Life comes at you fast.

In the UK Boris Johnson and his government pledged to send folks back home in a wave of nationalism.

When he caught Covid-19 he singled out the care he received from a nurse who came from New Zealand and the other came from Portugal.

You would hope this revelation that immigrants bring value to hospitals and other essential services will affect his decisions moving forward, but that may be wishful thinking.

I am hoping this is fake ...

"We want to thank you for putting your lives at risk for a measley $8.50 an hour. To show our appreciation, we want to offer you a bottle of soda but it ain't free. It will be $1 and limited to (2) bottles. Again, thank you for your hard work during these tuff times."

A ton of the Dairy owners here in Wisconsin know the value of undocumented workers. Because its very hard to find Americans that will put in the hours. So like unless you have something of value, people only seem to care about them, when it effects them.

Else its just a apathy towards them.

Its quite sickening, but at least here in America, racial hatred is showing its head because within 20-30 years, being white in this country won't get you shyt anymore.

Ive been meaning to update but I came online and saw DIO's post about his aunt so I wanted to wait. My guy tested negative but was still not better. We ended up going to the hospital and after a chest xray they determined it was pneumonia. After taking antibiotics for these last few days, he's much better which I am so grateful for.
