I remember when Australia was cited as a COVID model. Still only have 4 percent of their population vaccinated, have complete border closures, and are still doing total shutdowns every time a case is detected. People are getting tired of it predictably. Goes to show you, there is no "model" response and even one response that looks good at a certain period of time, can look much worse later (or vice-versa)
