Yes in addition to the people who own and work at Joe’s Bar or Sally’s Fitness aren’t about to volunteer to close for a month or more after sitting closed for 3-10 months last year depending on the state they’re in
Businesses are moving to vaccine requirements in a bid to stay open, other business that served business districts are still reeling since people aren’t back in offices yet. Even leading blue states have no desire to lock back down - Cali governor is in a recall partly spurred by what people feel were overreaching lockdowns, cuomo killed NY state’s credibility with covid and deblasio has shown no desire to close up - if these areas ain’t with it, and red states never been with it, not sure why y’all keep fantasizing about another lockdown
as for stimulus, when companies are complaining about being understaffed, you can be assured senators aren’t giving out more money - they didn’t want to when people were losing jobs, they surely won’t be when there are jobs sitting unfilled. It’s get your ass back to work or stfu time in their minds
Im not fantasizing. I'm just sick of this bullshyt. I want it over with once and for all. I have 0 expectations of another stimulus. Its probably near 0% chance of happening. Thus there wont be lockdowns. Basically, were fukked.

There will not and should not be another lockdown. At best, you'll see more businesses with vaccine and/or negative covid test requirements.

Long term effects of covid still unclear but long haulers are doing terribly. Kids should probably be prioritized even more than the elderly. We dont want a generation of kids compromised by this bullshyt
