PPT presentations: virtually impossible?

I don't know what kind of hypno beams come out of the projector but I literally have to double fist Mountain Dew to keep from falling out of my chair. I even got yelled at by one manager for doing the nod.

Anybody ever fell asleep or had a coworker crash out?

i got fired from a dayum good job cuz i fell asleep at work and i tried to deny it and play it off. i had good reason tho i had a huge abscess that had been lanced and i was on hydrocodones and i was drowsy as hell and i kept trynna make it look like i was looking at my computer screen. but i think i had started snoring or something cuz my coworker in the next cubicle came and was like are u alright. they sent me home, i was mad as hell, they was like have somebody come pick up your things and your last paycheck. i filed for unemployment on they ass and since i was prescribed the hydrocodones i got it.

Work for a global company so all our presentations are live presentations over the computer.. I work off two monitors, so I just slide that shyt to one of the monitors and don't even pay attention to it.

Why didn't you talk about the situation w/ your manager beforehand or take a sick day?

didnt have anymore sick days, and i was young and thought i was gonna be able to handle it. i coordinated documents and subpoenas for process servers. i thought i was the shyt but they were just looking for a reason to get rid of me, i didnt know at the time they had been shadowing my imz and shyt this was like back in 99. i was just learning the ramifications of IT.they had copies of all the dirty lil jokes i had copied out on company time. i had said some very derogatory things about my boss, who was gay and they had copies of that shyt too. i didnt wanna go to the companys 4th of july party, hell i had 3 kids and i was like 22, i didnt wanna take em and introduce they bad asses to my coworkers, it was alot shyt i had fukked up , but my good work is what kept me there so long. but i hadnt been there a whole yr.

at my old job they used to tell us if you felt like you were going to fall asleep in meeting stand up and stand in the back of the room. this one dude did it and the boss giving the meeting called him out on some joe pesci in goodfellas shyt like "Oh my bad,Am I boring you to sleep?"

A old head once told me start creating a story in your head cause it'll keep your brain working
