Cortana like feature in Forza Horizon 2 (Hi haters)

I dont like talking to anyone when im driving IRL why the fukk would i want to talk to any A.I. when im racing against nikkas....

I'd assume that feature is for cruising around in between races to find something new to do?

Going to the map screen sucks in most open world games. If this will allow me to go to the map screen less then it sounds good to me

Seems cool, but I would probably barely use it. None of the Kinect's feature have ever interested me enough to care for whatever it tries to do.

It shouldn't need to learn my speech pattern when I say simple commands like "Xbox, menu", though. That's just annoying. I don't have a heavy accent

The Xbox has no problems understanding simple voice commands. And while NOBODY uses the command "Xbox Menu" except for people who have NO experience with it (That would be you)

So "Anna" will let you know if your friends come online and where you have to go on the map.

When you are driving around in this "Open World" you know, like say Grand Theft Auto
Well while you are driving, if your friends are online about to get into a race/etc. "Anna" will tell you whats about to go down and you can then seamlessly go from offline to online while remaining in the same world.
Yeah, on PS4 for instance they could have added an indicator forcing you to take your eye off the road for a sec. But they didn't
Forza Horizon 2 did, and you seem furious about the feature so you're hating on it on an online forum

fam you saying all this for what?? kinect has been next next gen since the day it came out.. the tech is still amazing no what anybody ever says.. but they are NOT using this shyt correctly or how anybody anticipated it being used

do you realize the first kinect came out in 2010.. it's damn near 4 years later.. there's been a complete upgrade to 2.0... and you are telling me, the flagship console & flagship tech, is fukking next gen cause it's doing VOICE COMMANDS

the GAME is doing the cordana shyt. that could easily be done on a 360 with 1.0 if they dropped the same game... matter of fact this could be put in any game if the devs put it in..

take out kinect.. the game could have a phone, a line scroll, or a robot in the damn corner indicating me of an online race or giving me gps.. the ONLY thing the kinect is providing is the ability to say "go to the house" or "join online race"


that's not fukking next gen.. they need to be doing more with this by now.. take away the shyt with voice, and what features are you ever actually using.. people bought into this for the motion aspects and what it could bring to games.. i know cause i did.. if they'd use it more than lean, kids games, party games

why don't they have GOOD rail shooters?? time crisis, house of the dead or whatever.. all that dave and busters shyt, but HD graphics

fight night type boxing game.. i don't care if its generic fighters.. just that quality.. but it's you boxing

why don't they have a game that looks like madden but you just play the qb.. you can dodge tackles left and right and throw in 3 directions.. it'd be like the road to the pro mode


speaking of... they could have a baseball game like the show.. they have a mode where you play one player.. you can pitch, hit, even field (left, right, up, down)



i mean THAT'S next gen to me... they ain't making shyt fam.. what's on the kinect line-up?? where's the new star wars game.. i used to like that.. they had that kung fu game where your actual body was in there fighting.. where's the new that?? why we still playing with wii graphics?? why is it just thrown in features.. talk to gps.. call play.. lean left

microsoft has nobody to blame but themselves... where's the AAA kinect titles... it's 4 years later

I really don't have much experience with kinect. But like I said, it didn't work in the few instances where I gave it simple commands. That's unacceptable in my opinion, but maybe it got updates since then? I'm assuming that's the case since you say people don't complain about it anymore. But grow up, stop calling people trolls if they have a bad experience with something you support. shyt happens, not everything always works the way it's supposed to. That's life, get over it

The handful of times I've tried it, I had difficulty opening up the apps I wanted. That's really all I have to judge it though seems unreliable, especially with what they're Tryna do with this. I hope it works though, this is some future shyt

Battlefield 4 has Kinect support in it to, offline and ON (most ppl don't know about the online controls tho)
