If Cosby did do this he is probably the only black man in history that can get away with raping white women while being black. I'm not sure if he did do it. But they need to get rid of the law saying after a certain time you can't go to prison for rape (can't think of the term). I'm leaning on the thought that he did do it because it's so many women. There's a difference the whole situation with Cosby is you don't know. Its been said about him before but there's no trace but what these women are saying. I used to think that I wanted to be famous and all of that... but after examining so many people that are in the public eye and what they have to go through, I don't think I would ever want to put myself or my family through it

Emmit Till was murdered for "reckless eyeballing" (that means, "looking at" for those who don't know your history) and supposedly whistling at a white woman in the 50's

so there's no way anyone can convince an unbiased jury that a black man was freely raping white women and getting away with it scott-free in the 60's, less than a decade later

The only reason a lot of our people are being duped by this stuff is because as someone else said in this thread, a lot of us don't know our history

you all mean to tell me that during the time that negroes (that's actually what we were called back then) were trying to take the case for integration to President Kennedy, during the time that the Civil Rights movement was in full swing, and negroes were getting beaten down, hosed and killed in the streets freely (and they didn't even PRETEND that they were going to have a trial for it back then), during the same time period that MLK was assasinated, Medgar Evers was assassinated, the same time period where James Meredith was the first negro to go to a white school, and the white students rebelled so much that the President had to send the national guard in to protect Meredith and the white students bucked up on the National Guard and it turned into a full scale riot just because those white people were fighting tooth and nail to not have a negro in the same SCHOOL as them...
this is the same time period where negroes couldn't use the same bathrooms, couldn't eat at the same restaurants, couldn't use the same water fountain...

and you mean to tell me that Bill Cosby was some sort of mythical magic-endowed negro that he rose above all of that and took more than his fair share of white concubines, and those who refused him, he took them by force... and they were all afraid to tell on him?

Well brother I apologize for the insults too, but I think the reason you took Bill Cosby's comments so hard is because you felt it was something personal against you and your friends, and I don't think it was

I've never sagged my pants, brother... my parents never let me do anything like that

Its amazing what power and money can help you can get away with.

Its a lot of successful black men out there the majority of whom aren't half as adored and revered as Bill Cosby, so why have none of them ever been implicated accusations on this scale? Bill Cosby done had his career and in the eyes of most his legacy is already set in stone, so why would they risk being hated and disbelieved by the millions of people that Love Cosby if it weren't true? This ain't the first time we're hearing about this, its cropped up time and again, but quickly been shut down by lawyers, so do we really think that multiple women held onto the same lie for 30 years? There's a lot of things I don't know for sure. I don't know for sure if OJ killed his wife but I can't ignore what the facts suggest.
