I make almost $200k a year and I live like a fukking pauper. NYC is no place to be if you aspire to save and build wealth. It costs too damn much.

This again is untrue and you also seemed to be trolling. You don't like New York we get it.I was all up in that "New Yawk" thread asking people how everyone could afford to live there, when according to New York posters the majority of people in the city are supposedly making under 75k yet their rent prices are all over $1.5k a month, and over the course of like 10 pages I got like two actual answers.
I think the majority of people that live there are struggling/ broke, and the landlords are laughing at them all the way to the bank.![]()
50%At some point though it stop being a question if you can afford it and whether just on principle is spending that much on rent is really worth it when there are cheaper options and you can use that money for something more fulfilling.
How much of your paycheck per month is going towards rent and utilities? Like what percent.
I'll be honest I'm not sure I would live what would constitute the suburbs. Definitely not in these cookie cutter style suburbs where all the houses are the same these days.
I'm a nature guy and love some isolation so probably something that would more constitute the country or rural area. I lived in some apartments that were odd and situated in this sort of area by its lonesome and just being outside where it's quiet and you can smell the trees and see all types of wildlife from deer, wild turkey, etc. is something I'm determined to make part of my permenant living arraignment. Not sure if areas like this outside of NYC exist.
I wasnt bullshyttin at all in that thread, i was asking questions. I got a few examples and they were in line with the prices in the picture in the original post of this thread. My whole shyt was, how is somebody in NY doing well whenThis again is untrue and you also seemed to be trolling. You don't like New York we get it.
of their earnings are going *poof* every month and they make less than 75k?
