The only places I've really ever wanted to live besides my home state is Atlanta (my current residence) or Southern California. I have no interest in living up north. It's just too cold in the winter.
Cost of living put to the side, does anyone actually prefer the south over the north east or west coast?

only thing i dont like about NYC is the weather even though it does get hot in the summer.

I’m in South FL so it’s skewed for me.
I wouldn't step foot in the other Southern states nor would I even move to another city in this state.
But just so happens that I have a family home in the South which I grew up in. No place on Earth could ever feel like home compared to being here.
But if the house you grew up in is a distant memory now and you're just renting wherever, I could see one town being just as good as another.

I’ve been in Texas for going on two years now and I can’t say I prefer it to NJ/NY but the weather is infinitely better, plus better cost of living. I do miss my family though just can’t see myself dealing with snow and ice again for a minute.
