Cost of living put to the side, does anyone actually prefer the south over the north east or west coast?

What region would you rather live in if money wasn’t a factor ?

Best of everything in the South

Weather, fresh produce/seafood/farm animals, cost of living, scenery, crime, jobs,

South got the best crime? :skip:

The South got the best hoes with asses that are simple minded. If you crave that, go ahead.

the only thing the south has over other regions is the cooking. that's literally it

only people who prefers the south are those who don't want to leave because that's where their ancestors roots are from and are pretending it's better than Cali or Northeast. :mjpls:
Even the good food comes at a cost. Life expectancy probably ten years less in those states than west coast

Dallas, Texas but living in Houston, Texas
Born and raised in Texas and lived in Southern California when I was in the military but I would never live in California or the west. I have family in Chicago and I used to go there multiple times a year and I wouldn't live there or the midwest either. The furthest East I've been was the DMV since I have family there as well and I couldn't do the east coast due to the cold weather in the winter.

I couldn't see myself living anywhere but the South if I remained living in the United States. :yeshrug:

A lake near Tampa FL
I grew up in the Northeast and perfer to stay up top if I could help it.

I never been to the West Coast so I can't comment on it.

The south is cool mainly North Carolina, and Tampa Florida and the surrounding area. These are the areas in the south I have the most experience with. But I perfer the northeast.

I’ve been in Texas for going on two years now and I can’t say I prefer it to NJ/NY but the weather is infinitely better, plus better cost of living. I do miss my family though just can’t see myself dealing with snow and ice again for a minute.

It's funny you say this because due to climate change NY/NJ are getting less and less snow meanwhile the south is getting more. We haven't even had a real snowstorm up here this winter.

That said, I'm good in the northeast for now. If I HAD to move maybe the West?? Not the South because I have a real concern about how some of the legislation around women's rights, voter suppression and erasure of Black history. shyt looking crazy down there rn.
