Could a video game based on the Bible work

But imagine a Skyrim type game based on the Bible



Could make it interesting and make it similar to the Konquest mode in MK deception

I think a game about the life of David would work. You start off as a kid and end up as a King just like in the Bible. Can you imagine a boss fight between David and Goliath? Even though i do not believe in religion i would play such a game if it were well made.

but when you get to the Jesus parts it becomes like an rpg collecting members to ya party and saving folks

the saving parts could still have combat. jesus battling the demons in the spirit realm, freeing human's soul like sonic freed animals from robots

hell yea it could work... but no one would do the ACTUAL version.. the bible is a very fukked up book

Diablo 3 has a bunch of biblical elements. There are a lot of parallels to the story of Jesus, the nephelim are referenced in the game (your character is a nephelim) and in The Bible, heaven vs. hell, demons based on specific sins, etc.
A lot of genres would work, it's it would just require the stories to be implemented properly.
