I've never seen so many people wanting to see a man fail.
Him being from NY is a liability.... and he is pretty much the MacDowells of drill rap.Nah, heres a few differences that will work in his favor
2. He's from NY
5. People don't think he is a parody rapper
OG Bobby Johnson OG Bobby Johnson OG Bobby Johnson OG Bobby JohnsonWho is Que— and is this the answer to my question?
EDIT: Ca$h out is a very fair comparison, given where Bobby is at right now.
Nah, heres a few differences that will work in his favor
1. He's young
2. He's from NY
3. He has a crew
4. He isn't gay (as far as we know)
5. People don't think he is a parody rapper
It's not just BSB nobody cares about Troy Ave periodBeing from New York, hasn't exactly worked in many rappers favor of recent history.
having a crew doesn't mean anything, it just means you run with a bunch of dudes nobody wants to listen to.
Look at Troy Ave, nobody cares that he's from NYC....or could name/recognize anyone from his BSB crew.

I'm talking from a business stand point him being from NY benifits him a lot more than being from the south in doing business. I don't remember who it was but one of the major southern artists was recently explaining in an interview that all the record label business is handled in NY and its hard for southern artists because they have to organize meetings and things weeks and sometimes months ahead of time whereas NY artists can be much more flexible and therefore the business side is handled much quicker and more efficiently than if the artist was coming from outta state. I'm saying, logistically if there is business that needs to be handled it benifits him being from NY as opposed to Trinidad James coming from ATL. A NY artist with NY record label support will do better than an ATL artist with NY record label support.Being from New York, hasn't exactly worked in many rappers favor of recent history.

As far as having a crew, that is such an overlooked strength. Not because people neccissarily like the crew members but it helps in creating a movement that people can get into. The more people visibly part of his movement makes it more approachable for fans. Lupe recently said in an interview he wish he had a crew with him coming up cause it makes the individual bigger.
I'm not saying these things guarantee his success, they just work in his favor, especially compared to an artist like Trinidad James. As far as Troy Ave, he's just a bum

Bobby's YouTube views for Shmoney Dance and Hott nikka are more than any video by Troy Ave easily, a Troy Ave song never been bumped at parties or on the streets atleast where I'm from in the Bronx. Saturday night about 1 AM, I look out the window and it's a nikka wheeling out a big ass speaker blasting Hot nikka, Shmurda actually killing venues, Shmurda actually being played at parties. You nikkas are actually listening to Shmurda.
Bobby has a better crew, some people think Rowdy is the real star, some people feel like Abillion stole the mixtape with his second half performances. Rowdy already got a video with nearly half a million views.
How is Bobby like Keef, he's more vocally coherent and energetic than Keef ever was, because he mumbled a bit in the interview? Dude was still conversing, joking around telling stories he's a lot more friendly and charismatic than Keef shyt you couldn't get Keef to say more than three words at a time when he first came up.
)I don't know breh seems like the south is getting behind this tooHe still isnt well known in the south... People down here only know him from twitter gifs
