KD gon get a couple and a dark horse or two will rise as well. But yeah, like Mike, Bron could win it every year. When you're the best player in the league you'll always be in that position.

They not gon give it too him this year, when the season starts the media will make kd the front runner. Not saying durant wont ever deserve one, but i think the media is ready to see someone else on top

But during Jordan years there were people who were just as valuable if not more valuable than Jordan. Jordan was the best player, but we know being the best player doesn't always = MVP. He didn't deserve it every year. The right people were awarded MVP.

Jordan should of won the 97 mvp the bulls went 69-13 and his numbers were similar to the year before, they gave it to malone on some tryna be different tip

How can you be the best player but not the most valuable? That's illogical. Karl Malone was never a more valuable player than Jordan was.

It not illogical, you're stance is illogical. Shaq has 1 MVP for the regular season, you mean to tell me that he was the best player in the NBA for just ONE season:rudy:

Karl Malone was more valuable the years he won. Look who he had besides Stockton and a out of his prime Hornacek.... He lead them to the finals TWICE. If he wasn't more valuable than Jordan then I don't know what to tell you.

Now explain why Shaq won only 1 MVP and then tell me who was better than him.

They wanted to give it to KD last year, but they couldn't because the Heat and OKC finished 2 in their conferences. Lebron had the better season though and they couldn't justify giving it to KD without the number 1 seed. Years ago, Chris Paul led that oveacheiving Hornets team to a 2 seed in a stacked West, almost got the number 1. He was the best player that season, but no 1 seed, no MVP.

Back in the day writers gave the award to the best player that season, even if a dude's team was sorry, look at Jordan's early MVPs :manny:

The MVP trophy for '13 has KD's name on it already. Book it. Writers will give it to him as some kind of consolation prize for leading his team to the finals. Even if someone else is more deserving.

Only thing that could mess it up is OK falling off to the 3rd seed or something. Lebron would need to do at least 29, 9, 8, 2, 1 on 55% shooting, number 1 overall seed to win it this season or Rondo going off and grabbing the overall 1 seed with Boston.

First MVP year MJ put up 35/5/5/3steals/2blocks 54% :whew:

The Bulls had the 7th best record in the league that year.

NBA be :troll: hard

Jordan - 1988, 50 wins, 32 losses, .610%, finished 2nd in division
35ppg (53%), 5.5rebs, 5.9ast
Won MVP :jawalrus:

Kobe - 2006, 45 wins, 37 losses, .549%, finished 3rd in division
35.4ppg (45%), 5.3rebs, 4.5ast
Sorry :ld:

Bryant should have 2 MVPs. nikka was by far the best player that year & IMO, the most valuable. Without Kobe, LA would've been 20-62. Without Steve Nash, PHX was still a fringe playoff team.

In 87 he had 37/5/4....I think he finished 4th or 5th in the MVP voting :wtf:

Durant and Bron were dead even at the all star break...then Bron took it up a notch and was better in a couple of head to head reg season matchups with KD.

If it wasn't for The Decision Bron would have 4 MVPs in a row :damn:

I don't buy into the whole "if it wasn't for the decision, Bron would have 4 MVPs in a row"

Rose took his team to the first seed with less talent on his roster than Lebron in Miami. I think there was no question Rose deserved that one.

As far as next year, I think that if Durant takes OKC to the nr.1 seed, he will be MVP

Yeah I think this will happen too.

They had the gall to give Barkley the award in '93 and Karl Malone that shyt twice while MJ was still dominatin those dudes..:what:

They will somehow find a way to give Durant an MVP..:shaq2:

fukk you blind nikka? You don't see the differences between their numbers? Jordan had a 60 TS % that year while Kobes had a 55 TS %. There's a huge gap in their scoring efficiency even though they both scored as much. Not only that but Jordan edges him in every other statistical category that year too and yeah, he won 5 more games during the season.

Kobes 05-06 was just a chuck-fest. No one should be putting up 27+ shots per game on 55 TS %. shyt is beyond ridiculous. Jordan did the same thing in '87 although more efficiently than Kobe did. And Jordan didn't won no damn MVP that year. I swear you nikkas is in love with PPG without looking at context or how you're getting your points.

Having a player jack up that many shots on ~55 TS % is :scusthov: It's basically AI territory, his best scoring season was at 33 ppg on 54 TS %.
