I think he would be at least as good defensively as some of the other stiffs and on offense he could still score big time but would be more of a lead guard.

There are worse players starting at guard than Pete Maravich so evidently yes, he could compete in today's era.

He'd be a fan favorite. He was severely turnover prone though and got labeled sometimes as a poor teammate/leader. Not a great defender either

Imagine Manu/Steph like artistic flair with quite a bit of offensive substance but idk what else he could contribute outside of offense. He'd for sure be successful today though
