Again I said probably NOT..but you keep saying that like they shoot high 40s or low 50s...in this postseason they have been shooting 46%...so I expect them to be around that for this series..

ok but you're talking about a 5 percent difference between their avg and what they shot last night. that's pretty big. if the Spurs are shooting 45 or 46% from the field, aint no way in hell Miami winning unless they're shooting 50% or some shyt.

I did the same thing with Wade's avg in the Indy series compared to his avg in the entire series. shyt was a about 5 points away from his playoff avg this post season. that's huge.

Well I'm not gonna have a knee jerk reaction...

But I just hope the Heat enjoy their last home game sunday because this series isn't coming back to Miami after that :mjpls:

The problem with what you are arguing is you act as if the spurs played to maximum heights and they only get worse from this point

What if the spurs shot from 3 what they normally shoot?

What if the spurs dominated the boards like would normally do?

What if tony parker starts dropping the numbers he was dropping vs golden state and the grizzlies?

What you are banking on is lebron and wade to go up in they scoring but the spurs to not get any better.

4th last night wasn't the spurs shooting uncharacteristically and doing things they don't normally do. They got to the 4th and out executed the heat. That is why I said we will need to see something from bron and wade we hardly ever see. And that's them closing out games vs another very experienced team.

Alot of what if's to address and only time will time what happens over the series....

and to address the bold....you said elevate their games to place we haven't seen before to win this series and I pointed out that LeBron didn't elevate his game last night and they were still right there.....and yes they have closed Boston out 2 years in a row..another experienced playoff/championship team...

Miami shoots 47% for the post season and shot 43% last night..that's just about the same adjustment...the problem last night was Miami( Bron) settled for jump shots..they shot 12-17 from the FT line..when they avg 19-25 for the postseason....

and SA only shot 18 FTs last night. again I just think your expectations of Wade and the others are little high. outside of LeBron and Bosh against the Bulls no other guy on that team has been consistently good. its been very spotty with them.

and they avg 20 attempts a game... so they were pretty much near their avg where Miami wasn't even close......and you won't get an arguement from me about how inconsistent the team has been...my point is that I didn't walk away from that game last night thinking that Miami has NO shot against SA and the series is over...:manny:

I'm not talking about elevating his game in point production

I'm talking about elevating his game on closing out vs a quality opponent.

The mistake heat fans consistently make is y'all use other series as measuring sticks on what the heat can do.

Boston had injuries every where and never had the front court to give the heat issues like the spurs can. It was basically big 3 vs big 3 and the younger more talented big 3 won that.

You have to admit the spurs are a different problem, a different team.

Just saying well if bron or wade elevate without realizing the spurs can be much better is looking at this thing one sided

Heat should be fine...they played to defensive monster teams..back to back. I din't leave that game thinking they'll lose...their execution on the 4th will be better going on forward.

People are overrating this spurs team as some juggernaut...or a different kind of animal. Heat will be fine.

I don't think anybody is saying the series is over. I have not heard 1 person say the heat have no shot. I think most of us know them dudes is still old they age can start to show

But just treating the spurs like they indy or okc is a mistake. Them dudes legit

you make the mistake of assuming that because I'm having a discussion about the game that I'm a Heat fan....

The Spurs are a different team and different problem...agreed...

The Spurs can play better so can the Heat, especially LeBron....I was primarily focusing on your point of elevating their games to a point that we haven't seen before in terms of production......which why I said that dude didn't even have normal game and they only lost by 4.....NOW that you have explained yourself, I understand what you are saying...
