Here's the problem: except for a few weirdos, I don't think anyone disagrees with protecting Black women from adverse shyt if you are able to in real life. Even the militant anti-feminists I've known will lend a helping hand often.

The problem is the context of this phrase. In abstract, if you are talking about reducing Black females as victims of violence, sexual assault, or homicide if you offered a few realistic actions most men could take, I would be 100% behind this.

However, I am side-eyeing the "protect Black women" at this point in time because how I am seeing it used. When people bring up news stories or social media of random violent Black men that none of us knows and act like bad things happen because Black men as a collective somehow didn't step up, rather than this is a sad situation done by some b*stard that should be locked up, yeah I tune out. No other race of men is asked to collectively apologize for some random motherfukker that did wrong they have no relation to. When a serial killer knocks out 10 White women you don't hear this shyt.

You know about the murder of Kitty Genovese? Where the woman was screaming for help and was heard by dozens but no one helped? It's foul but this is a sad human instinct to not get involved. Is it wrong and should it be change? Yes, but shaming BM is no answer.

When BW say they won't support civil rights and movements that help Black men like opposing police brutality, etc. because they somehow don't feel there is something in it for them (do these women have brothers or sons????) then this becomes divisive, not a honest invitation for BM to help.

I am slowly making a thread about some of these stats. BW have the lowest homicide rate in almost 70 years and have had falling rates of (reported) sexual assault. Sure one is too many but if BM weren't shyt, there situation wouldn't be improving, and it is.

Dunno, what would you call something that is expected of you...as a leader and protector. That's the role isn't it? Or nah? Which is it.

I don’t have no muthafuccing roles - I’m not no actor.

...and I thought they didn’t like roles, either. Sounds like you need to ask them which is it...

i'd like some of thes black females to post statistics of how many black women are abused, beaten raped, whatever, a year by black men.

let's start there - provide objective facts and statistics that prove that the issues being discussed are even an actual phenomenon.

i have the stats in reference to the abuse black men and children suffer at the hands of black females.

i wasn't trying to turn this into that, but now it has to be that. the idea of men being abusive just because we're men is laughable. we need some actual factuals.

Yes, you should protect black women. Obviously I’ll protect the ones in my family and I can think of a few occasions where in a way, I protected a black woman I didn’t even know. Here’s the issue though. How can one expect a man be a protector if he was raised to act like a bytch? I don’t mean bytch=female, but a bytch/p*ssy/soft ass nikka.

Nah.. Her bady dady shot her and killed her mother and cousin..

Nikkas going stupid..

And that nikka will rot in prison rightfully so. What white supremacist and shea butter Twitter gotta understand is just telling blacks to "stop committing crime" isn't going to work.
