I would assume it has to do with your tax return and having a bank account on file to either pay back taxes or get a refund

If you’re bank account information changed between this year and last year they don’t have your info. People change banks,get scammed,close accounts etc.

You would be surprised. Half the folks that I used to teach a while back had to go through loopholes because of the following:

• They fukked their checking account up
• Bounce from different unions and money cards because bulletpoint one
• Doing side shyt because of stuff which result in bulletpoint one
• Last time they seen a bank was when King Jr got a shape up

So yeah these folks are out here unfortunately. The breaks because I'm just celebrating them funds, my paid from home, and my wife's college money in my drawls to this song:

The IRS does not have my direct deposit information. What can I do?
In the coming weeks, Treasury plans to develop a web-based portal for individuals to provide their banking information to the IRS online, so that individuals can receive payments immediately as opposed to checks in the mail.
