Corners are basically the most athletic people on the field, maybe even across every single sport: 4.2/4.3 speed and bench pressing 225 lbs. x15+ and even then the mass majority of the time they get handled by an offensive linemen or running back blocking.
There's a reason why DC's rarely send cornerback blitzes and they ain't going to send one with a regular person.
Coaches rarely want to send L'Jarius Sneed at the QB, but the average person thinks they'd be more effective.
