I don't think so .....:ohhh:

Some of these teams have lots of max players and role players that would command lots of money on the open market some of these guys was only paid 1-2 million role players less than that :ehh:

so with out expansion or real free agency teams could actually draft and keep they players

or draft and stash players while they in college :russ:

spurs

rockets

etc.....

:yeshrug:

these days you have players that would be role players back then killing the cap making 12-18 million

so im not sure these teams can be built today :ohhh:

In today's game, Knicks wouldn't have lasted, that Blazers squad with Pip probably wouldn't have been possible, 80s Lakers would've had 2 200m players, and James probably would've been getting like 130M, etc

I feel like Bulls would've somehow existed anyway. I don't know how, but I can't imagine a way where nikkas just don't take less to play there

Luxury tax, repeater tax, max contracts, you didn't see 8 year contracts like the one Jordan signed after the last couple bargaining agreements. Reinsdorf would have to pay the tax to keep the team together as well.

They said a bunch of sideways ass shyt. The owner said he'd trade all 6 Bulls championships for one White Sox ring.

The GM said players don't win championships. Front offices win championships.

They also gave Scottie the okey-doke and got him to sign a bullshyt ass contract and when he complained they basically laughed and said he shouldn't have signed it if he wanted more money.

They broke up the most successfull basketball team EVER over money:mindblown::dahell::shaq2::why:

Reinsdorf also said his proudest accomplishment is not paying the tax

Pax choking Del Nergo is an all time fukkery moment though:mjlol:
How that max contract situation working out?

fukking excellent. Its incredible how owners make rules and proceed to complain about those very same rules.

Every owner after the NFL signed its 2006 labor deal said theirs is the best in sports. 5 years later, "the system is broken and we can't turn a profit anymore. We need 62% of all the revenue and for the players to play 18 games now!"
