Yeah, they can guard everyone on the Rockets outside of Hakeem, the same would apply to the Bulls, they can guard everyone outside of Jordan.

You would have a stronger argument if the bulls attempted the same amount of 3s in 98 as they did in 96 and 97.
In 98 the bulls as a team shot only 962 3s which averages to 12 a game for 82 games.
in 97 the bulls as a team shot 1403 3s which averages to 17 a game for 82 games.
in 96 the bulls as a team shot 1349 3s which averages to 16 a game for 82 games.
Why this is important is because the 3pt shot is a groove and rhythm shot, the more of those shots you take the better your percentages are usually. If you only take 1 or 2 a game as a player you don't develop the consistency and rhythm needed to consistently make the shots. so the bulls dropped off 400-500 attempts from 97 to 98 and ultimately that was a bigger reason why them as a team fell from 3pt percentages more than the line being pushed back
