A new survey has found that 22 per cent of men could defeat a chimp in combat, with a similar number backing themselves to come out on top while wrestling lethal king cobras.
Experts say males would stand little chance against chimpanzees, which are four times stronger than humans because of their denser muscle fibre.
The animals are also surprisingly quick and aggressive.
Jan Garen, the owner of Wales Ape and Monkey Sanctuary, said: "A man would stand no chance at all.
"A chimp will go for your eyes so you can’t see, then hands so you can’t fight back.
"People forget that chimps can bite. And they are very fast."
Expert Sarah Bell added: "Chimpanzees have been known to tear off people’s faces and leave men with a little less manhood than they had before the encounter."

Of course, Im 6’5. Chimpanzees only reach like 5 feet. Then, they are quick, but I have high agility as well. Basically, any chimpanzees think it’s a good idea to run up on me, I’m knocking them the fukk out
