No, it means a lot of people are struggling.

If the average American can't solve a 7th grade math problem, it doesn't mean it's hard it just means a lot of people are bad at math.

potato potato
ol "just because $1000 is a lot of money to those living in the slums of congo dr doesn't mean it's a lot to those living in beverly hills"head ass:stopitslime:

$2k is a lot of money to most americans and most people in this world period

Hell no :pachaha:

I'm Australian, registration and insurance always run me about $1700 every year over here. Registration is basically always pegged at $600 based on the weight of my car, and insurance is about $1100 right now. But if I keep on with my clean driving record and don't make any claims, it should start getting cheaper as I enter my 30s in a couple of years time.

Tyres I only need to buy about once every 3 years, 2 and a half years. They cost around $150-$200 each.

Plus the maintenance work I need done at the shop, I'm expecting a bill of around $2500. But if the insurance company fukks me since I'm at a new address in a new city, it could be higher.

Also all these prices are in Australian dollars, which I think are worth about 70 US cents to the dollar. So $2500 Australian = $1750 US

:ohhh:Are you a breh?

Besides looking at the data, you'll be surprised at how many people dont have $1k or 2k saved. Whether its terrible money management, its financial illiteracy, lack of education to obtain a decent job, or whatever.

I met this 35 year old chick earlier this year and we were talking financial goals. She says her goal is to get to $3k saved by the end of this year. She kinda hinted that she had $1,500 saved. Mind you, she had a nice azz 2017 Lexus. That Louis Vuitton bag she had was nice too. I didnt know her situation but damn ma you 35 years old with only $1,500 saved up.

I swear I hope to never be broke again. I have 2 years of emergency money and a nice chunk of change in my brokerage acct. No credit card debt. This pandemic has taught me to have your money somewhat together. Social media is a mirage, a lot of people are faking the funk to keep up with the joneses.

It’s what you just stated. Women especially try to keep up with the Joneses. My sister got it bad, just bought a $3k purse with afterpay and she still living at my parents with her 2 kids and husband :francis:

That's freaking crazy and terrible. :gucci:
She’s throwing bad vibes at me right now because I’ve been on vacation for a month road tripping with the family to 9 different cities etc while we are only 16 months apart. About to pay off our house early next year and taking my parents on vacation to Mexico and Belize for Xmas + NYE. She’s big mad right now because she made bad choices a lot of the way in her 20’s and now wary 30’s. No fkn way I’m married with my 2 children smashing in my wife’s parents home for 5 years. Maybe a couple months while we get back on our feet but some devastating ass shyt would’ve had to have happened for that to go down
