Probably 50...:lolbron::russ:

But they have 29 on board right now and are pushing for like 3 more which will give them 32. I don't know how Butch is doing it...smh. They signed 35 last year leaving only 50 spots...then they are on track to sign another 30 plus again this year. Either they are grey shirting a hella bunch of players or they are cutting a bunch of current ones each year. I don't know how that will work after this season considering the NCAA made 4 year mandatory scholly's unless that player decided to leave or is kicked off. :yeshrug:

We had some of the freshman we recruited last year transfer cause they lost position battles. For example Daniel Helm was a highly recruited 4 star TE that lost the starting spot to Ethan Wolfe (another freshman) and was also getting passed up in practice by another freshman TE that they were redshirting. . He transferred to Duke cause he saw that he'd be 3rd string for the next 4 years. DeAndre Payne was another highly recruited 4 star CB that got beat out by 2 other freshman CBs for playing time. He transferred to Maryland. These are just 2 names. The same story holds true for a bunch of the Derek Dooley holdovers.

Butch has pretty much created a culture where talent always wins out. He won't start upperclassmen just because they've earned it. And he won't stop recruiting more talented players just cause you're here. Either transfer or be on the bench if you get beat out.

as much as I hate Florida, I hope ya'll finish strong and get Cowart, Ivey, etc. we need the Tennessee/Florida rivalry to be important to the national title picture AGAIN.

Don't think we're getting Cowart. Out of him, Ivey, CeCe Jefferson, and Jeffrey Holland, I think Coward ends up at Auburn or FSU. Really believe that Ivey and CeCe ends up at Florida. Not sure about Holland but we do NEED LB's in the WORST way.

What's funny is that the UT-UF games since 2009 have been ugly on quality of play, but entertaining games. UT should have won 2 out of the last 3 years to be honest with you.

Ya'll looking too deep into it. We're returning Treon, who didn't do anything last year to cement himself as the starter going into next year and let's face it, Will Grier is an unknown RS freshman. it's there for the taking as far as playing time for Francois if he does end up at Florida.

If Francois flips to Florida....Kai will stay with FSU....

If Charlie doesnt get Murray :lupe:

Locksley started to 24/7 his decision isn't going to be based on where Francois is going to school. I think he is possibly one of our silent commits.

Saw on bleacher report that If Murray flips it will be to Oregon.

That is terribly wrong. Oregon is pretty much out of it unless he pops up on an OV there this weekend.

Nobody believes that's actually gonna happen though.

I actually looked at the title wrong, didnt read the article. Just said Oregon was a better fit. Here is the link.

I can see Michigan's recruiting class this year like how Clemson's was when Dabo first took over. We only signed 12 players that year and 2 of them actually ended up retiring from football because of medical reasons...so it was really only 10 of them. The next season they'll be back on it and do well...hiring Jim just took too long to have an impact this year.
Is this the lowest class Michigan has ever had?I mean it's not over but they could have a robot filling in as head coach and still should be able land enough to stay in the Top 40.It's Michigan.
