Coaching change and plus putting our coaching staff together late hurt us. We've got OL and 2 WR's which are big needs. This is STILL unacceptable though. It'll be better next year, no choice

I think Texas is going to surpass A&M in the next year or two because Strong is just a flat out better coach than Sumlin. If you are an elite defensive player in the state of Texas why wouldn't you want to play for Strong?

Besides, the SEC has lost some of the appeal it has had the last ten years or so. I think (and hope) Texas becomes dominant in the state again.

Every school going have issues in the first year. The year Saban went to Bama. They were 13 with zero five stars and 4 four stars.

It's not a secret that they do...how do you think they took Robert Nkemdiche from Clemson. He was a commit and his father [who he was living with] had no problem with it. Suddenly his mother [Nigerian politician] began a media onslaught about wanting her kids to play together so she won't have to go to different games and shyt [she's only been to about 4 or 5 of their games since they were in HS and did i forget to mention she lives in Nigeria]. So I found it ironic that she never spoke with Dabo or the staff and made this peculiar statement... " I want him to play for Ole Miss..... or an SEC school" Clemson knew what was up and didn't even fight it. That's why all of a sudden it went from Clemson------------------Ole Miss-----UGA----LSU--Bama to Ole Miss----------------------------LSU and that's it all in 5 days in November.

Now look at their record prior to the recruiting year....

2011 2-10 Houston Nutt fired,
2012 7-6 Hugh Freeze first year [3-5 conf record]
2013 8-5 Hugh Freeze 2nd year [3-5 conf record]

Then they suddenly land the class that they landed...smh...righhhhhhhttttt....lol. He claims it was all in his plans but why haven't they sniffed having 4 consensus 5 star players since. It's like they knew that had to fall back for a little bit before they got back on it. I fully expect them to pay it up again next season considering their 5 stars probably will all declare for the NFL.

I would kind of understand if Freeze come from a Big 5 or mid like Cincy, Boise, or UCF. The b*stard come from Arkansas State. No way nikkas go to Oxford to play without clearing those checks. Auburn dirty also.

strong's core values won over A LOT of parents this year. you win over momma, you get the recruit.
