:pachaha: He wasn't prepared for that game. I doubt even Watson could have went to Auburn and showed out on his first start. If you look at the game tho, he struggled a lot in the first half but as he got more comfortable you started seeing flashes. He has the ability to extend plays with his running and has a cannon arm, he's going to be good.
Im a Harris fan, wanted him at OSU. He would have developed nice :sas1:. Hoping Gibson still come. He would win a Heisman in our system

don't we see favorites lose every year in the NCAA basketball tournament? or how bout the NFL playoffs? just cause a playoff system will produce more upsets don't mean the SEC ain't still the best conference. check the recruiting rankings each year and check out the NFL draft. then come and see me talkin bout SEC dominance being a myth. we still have more elite players playing in our conference than any other conference in America. PERIOD.
Never said anything about SEC dominance being a myth though I don't see a return to what the SEC did from 2006-2013 ever again. But was saying in that span, if there was a playoff system, there is a chance that half of those teams would have lost if it was a playoff system. We will never know that though. But nobody is denying the talent that the SEC produces. It's in the Southeast (and now South Central) US.

That is all that I was saying in my earlier posts. SEC is the best conference but their reign of complete domination is over. But no one is talking about the coaching aspect. Look around the country and notice how all the non-SEC powerhouses have upgraded coaches in the last five years:

Texas - upgraded from Mack Brown to Charlie Strong
USC - off sanctions and upgraded (somewhat) from Lane Kiffin to Steve Sarkisian
Michigan - upgraded from Brady Hoke to Jim Harbaugh
Penn State - off sanctions and upgraded from Joe Paterno to James Franklin
Ohio State - upgraded from Jim Tressel to Urban Meyer
Florida State - upgraded from Bobby Bowden to Jimbo Fisher

Those are all young, dynamic coaches. Meanwhile the best coaches in the SEC are all in their sixties (Nick Saban, Les Miles, and Steve Spurrier). There is going to be more parity in college football going forward.

Soso is going to Texas brah.

Plus kill all that shyt about Texas momentum slowing down...

Soso is UCLA to lose. He's coming to Westwood w Newsome. Also, don't get me wrong, Texas has been picking up studs, but I was talking about the momentum in Soso's recruitment.

Southern schools will always get elite talent cause thats where the majority of the elite recruits are.thats a undeniable fact no doubt. But out of those schools you listed, they really aren't championship contenders in this playoff system. Not in the foreseeable future. Bama n Auburn run the sec and i dont see that changing no time soon. Thats just me.

wtf? are you a 10 year old kid who don't remember anything before the last 3-4 years? LSU was just in the national title game in 2011 after an undefeated regular season and Florida won 2 titles in 2007 and 2009.

it ain't ancient history breh that the SEC was dominated by LSU and Florida.

Florida when they beat OSU shouldn't have even been in the game, should have been a rematch with Michigan that year. That LSU team beat a overrated young Ohio ST team, im telling u the playoffs gonna change how the sec gets looked at as a whole. Its started already in year 1.

or last year could just be an abberation and the last decade is more true to form.

you've admitted we'll always get the best recruits, I don't see how you can say we ain't gonna win anymore? if anything I think the playoffs will enhance our chances at winning more national titles. In 2004, Auburn missed out on the national title game eventhough they were undefeated. that won't happen now. you'll almost always have an SEC team in the playoff. and I believe that the best SEC team will almost always be the best team in the nation and we'll win more times than not.

last year was a fluke, not the start of any trend.

We've entered a new era, you need quality QB's. Only so long you can hide them with a D and Running game. CFB playoffs gunna expose all the frauds :blessed:

did you nikkas bury ur heads in the sand during the playoffs? Ohio State won using the SEC formula. crazy run game with Elliot and a fast defense. they're the team that beat Mariota and Oregon fraudulent pass game.

this wast a down year for the SEC. our recruiting classes are too dope for us not to ascend right back to the top next year.

Never said the sec wont win a chip nomore. Im saying that dominance yall had is over. You living in the past. The past two years the best sec has lost in the chip game n playoffs. Hell the two sec teams lost in bowl games last year, and this year the sec west might as well stayed home during bowl season. These past years a sec team pretty much automatically was gonna be in the title game. Those days are done now. The gap between conferences are closing, and whats even worse for sec teams now is that old argument of, well the sec just beats up on each other is done after their shytty showing during bowl season.

great fukkin athletes all over the place. don't act like LSU ain't been producing standout WRs. Odell Beckham Jr., Jarvis Landry, Rueben Randle, Brandon Lafell, Dwayne Bowe, etc.

if I was a dope QB, that would be one of the places I would go cause ya'll nikkas are a QB away from the title each year.
