2017 has started off even better :whoo:

Also heard someone say they think if Gibson moved to wr he has Randy Moss type ability

he's 6'5" and ran a 4.4 at the opening (laser tested so we know they ain't no stopwatch shenanigans).

the problem is homeboy don't wanna play any other position but QB. alot of other teams would've come after him harder if he were open to playing WR. one of the main reasons he signed with Urban Meyer is cause he said he'd only play him at QB and wouldn't force him to another position.

if Gibson played WR, he'd be the #1 receiver in the country IMO. no one else has his physical gifts.

have u nikkas been livin under rocks or do u not realize recruiting is a 365 day thang. alabama and tennessee had better classes respectively and wrapped that shyt up months ago. don't let the prima donnas who wanna anncounc on signing day twist this shyt.

USC had a good class. But Florida's was TERRIBLE given the quality of players in their home state.

I always think LSU could do a lot better considering the amount of talent that comes out of Louisiana.

We all got one more surprise [or not] for today...but for the 2016 class.

2016 RB Tavien Feaster is set to announce in about 2hrs where he'll be committing to next season. Barring an injury he should be South Carolina Mr. Football next season and a 5 star. If you haven't seen much of him...he's a long highlight video of this past season.

Will he follow the footsteps of Stephen Davis [who was from Spartanburg SC also] and go to Auburn?

Will he pull an Albert Haynesworth [from Hartsville, SC] and leave state to go to the Rocky Top?

or will he stay in state and in his backyard and play for Clemson?

Did i mention he's a track star also and has been clocked as fast as 4.34 before and has put on weight every year and is almost 200lbs at 6ft.

:ohhh:

:ehh:

:wow:

:whoo:

please forgive me...but Dabo and crew did so good getting the class together early and keeping it...we had no drama today! :yeshrug:

nikka its 2015. this dude will prolly change his decision 10 times from now till his actual signing day. nobody wanna hear this now.

Well he chose Clemson and said the reason he wanted to choose early was because the calls are driving his parents crazy and he's tired of it already. He said he just wanted to focus on his senior year and academics and not going through the other stuff. The kid is very well spoken and would have been a great pickup for any of the teams. :yeshrug:

That's true but if scouts get in his ear that he could be the no 1 pick one day if he moves to wr as opposed to going undrafted as a qb we'll money talks so he might be persuaded

The SEC ass kissing on ESPNU right now is disgusting. Every year they hype up all these 5 star recruits from Bumblefukk, Mississippi and Tumbleweed, Georgia and most of them are never heard from again.

How many big bowl games did all those 5 stars in the SEC win this year?

7 bowls games. most of any conference. with the SEC east going a perfect 5-0.

stop catchin feelins cause 10 of the top 20 recruiting classes are in the SEC. we all know that 75% of these 4*/5* dudes will bust or be mediocre and only 25% will live up to the hype. but that is the same in every conference. highly touted dudes will bust and random nobodies will become stars. the advantage the SEC has is that we get so many highly touted dudes., that even with all the busts that will inevitably happen. we'll still have more talent than any other conference. its the reason more players are drafted from the SEC than any other conference.

men lie, women lie, but NFL paychecks don't.

how many "committed" kids did we see flip today? I'mma Tennessee fan and we flipped Drew Richmond who was an ole miss committ since September, who reports said was covertly tryin to recruit for ole miss during his unofficial visit to tennesse in the fall. fast forward to signing day and he flips to Tennessee.

as long as he keeps taking visits, he'll be open to getting flipped. thats why commitments at this time mean little. so much can change between now and february 2016.

nick marshall wasn't persuaded till a day before senior bowl practices. there's almost no chance gibson plays WR in college. he's a good enough thrower to play QB in college like Nick Marshall. which sucks for Ohio state fans cause there are better QBs they can play than Gibson but they won't find a better WR.

True the problem is he's good enough in college to start and do well in Urbans offense

Hopefully Burrow or the qb's we sign in 16 will beat him out and force his hand

A good QB coach can make Gibson an amazing prospect, tweak his footwork a little and you got another Cam, Cardale guy. Bit more skinnier but the frame is there. I agree he more built now for WR and would probably start, but they RS him, they got him as a junior and senior, so they'll likely keep the black excellence alive

Our class was GREAT considering that we signed 15 out of our 21 players from the state of Florida. Our TOP priority going in was OL and DL and we locked that down. Didn't take chances in trying to sway people who had fringe interest in UF. Class ranked in the top 20 and that's only with a damn month of recruiting for our new coach AND w/o a WR coach.

Who you think starts at QB?
