Had a dude on twitter today tell me I shouldn't get mad over This because Golden got him to commit for almost a year. there's this crazy thinking with some in the fanbase that you can't blame Golden for anything. His record, top talent leaving, teams performance etc.

I mean just in the past 2-3 years look what's been in SFL. Alex Collins, Sony Michel, Dalvin Cook, Joe Yearby, Jordan Scarlett all basically 3 5 stars n 2 high 4 and he's only gonna end up with 1.


Thing with Golden is he's got a eye for talent, parents love him kids like him so they commit. But come December/Jan when the seasons over and the big dogs come calling he can't hang. He sells great dreams but around this time you are what your record is. It's the reason why Miami has fallen flat the last couple of NSD's

The moment the clock hit zero in our loss to GA Southern, he should have been out. Missed out on Petrino, Strong, etc and you right, we would of had the big 3 along with possivly still being able to bag Cook and Lane too

Golden has to be fukkin someone high up or their daughter to keep his job. He's terrible at everything and was a bad hire from the get go. If they don't replace him after this season with someone who can recruit South Florida again then he needs to go. Imagine a Miami team that could have had Sammy Watkins and Amari Cooper at WR, Duke Johnson at RB and etc.

I feel like out of all the universities...those dumbasses in Miami has fukked up their athletic program terribly. They were already a private institution so funds were limited but when the "U" was great...they got soooo much bread from it. Now instead of realizing that they are going down the path to be below USF in the state.

this Canes class has been confusing from jump, if we only get 1 back out of the 4 that were committed it will hurt bigtime

only 1 DB, and maybe 5 guys total that can make an immediate impact. a lot of projection guys, way too offer-happy early in the process. Al's batting average with DT's and RB's is just terrible. the lack of LBs in this class is just bizarre. QB too

you should still close with Warren and Mack. That's a great class for Strong and I only see them pulling more elite prospects from the other Texas schools in the next few years. But Mora and Co will still be hitting that area hard for recruits.
