I think Hue made some terrible moves early.

I think they`ll regret that RG3 and not drafting a qb shyt for a long time, Wentz is cooling off now, but I can see him being a steady top 10-15 qb in the league for years to come, and the Browns haven't had that since they returned to the league
Goff hasn't played and Wentz is dinking and dunking his way down to midfield.

The Browns wouldn't be better with either of them.
Coleman getting hurt put a lid on the passing game. They're unable to stretch the field without him. And the O-line hasn't been healthy either...which put a cap on how effective Crowell could be (and he started off well).
And if they were hoping that Josh Gordon could give them a boost...that went out the window too. (Gordon, Coleman and Pryor on offense looks pretty decent, breh).

Wanna do the math on all of them other coaches who went 1-15?

List of NFL teams that finished a season at 1–15 - Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

So tell me

dikk Nolan
Rod Rust
Ron Meyer
Rich Kotite
Mike Riley
George Siefert
Cam Cameron
Steve Spagnolo

Now please tell me, of any of these coaches, who went on to be anything even decent? Yea, none of them, 1-15 is pretty telling. And these clowns probably wont even get to 1-15.

So let's go to 0-16, one coach, Rod Marinelli.

He's a DC right now.

George Siefert was pretty "decent"

I only feel like black coaches are only hired when teams are in the complete gutter. When they start to show some promise and get pieces, they fire them and hire a white coach. For the most part...
No credible coach wants the Cleveland job until they get THE QB of the future.

Look at the history in all sports.

Hes not getting fired

The Browns are rebuilding. This type of season was expected. Why do you think they have gotten rid of most of their vets and recent high picks in this past offseason and preseason

They had 14 picks in the last draft(19 rookies on the current roster) and have a bunch of picks in the next 2 drafts

They are completely turning over the roster and have no expectations of winning right now

Hue ain't going nowhere for atleast 2 more seasons

That roster is abysmal. They have a bunch of picks. No reason to fire him.

Naw I think if Hue turns things around in Cleveland they'll stick with him

When you're a terrible franchise and a coach pulls you out of that you don't forget that. Those terrible times stay in your mind and you don't want to risk going back to that

Thats why Marvin is still in Cincy even though he can't win a playoff game

Im pretty sure they still remember those brown paperbag days

The browns is a shytty situation but I was never too high on Hue as a head coach. Great offensive mind, but I still remember him throwing the whole team under the bus when the raiders didn't make the playoffs his one year there.

lol I was about to say, didn't this dude win 2 championships? :heh:
Expose yourself as another person who doesn't know anything about the history of the game

The 2001 Panthers was the very last time he ever coached because going 1 + 15 it's a pretty good sign you're not fit to be an NFL coach

the browns problem isn't hue

it start with jimmy haslem who fukking hired a baseball motherfukker paul depodesta because he was intrigued with analytics and has no fukking clue about football

they had wentz all line up at number 2 or zeke elliot but traded down for dudes who are not impact or future pro bowlers

and this upcoming QB class isn't impressive

Marvin is just about the only exception..

Of course if Hue starts doing 10 and 6 years, he has a chance. But initial hiring is always given to blacks when it's really not much to work with initially 90% of the time

When someone goes 0-16, or even 1-15, they really ain't the guy for the job.

Hue is looking dumb as fukk for putting all that faith in RGkneeanklletoespiritsoul and not taking Wentz, now you're 0-10 and you're pulling Kesller for McCown?

I think they`ll give him another year, because the Browns gonna Browns, but i cant see him being there past that

Name me a team that would do well if their first 5 starting QBs went down and they had to resort to a 6th and then 7th.
