Those and other rebellions scared the shyt out of White people to the point that White people stopped reporting slave rebellions in the press, because they feared more rebellions. That is also why most people are unaware of the number of actual slave rebellions that happened in America and the reason that anti-literacy statutes were imposed on the slaves, because they believed that literacy lent itself to more rebellions.
