Once upon a time a great great visionary talked about the cloud, but the masses laughed at him. Now I'm not gonna brag, I'm just gonna point out that I said Sony was not future proof at the beginning of last gen. Courtdog's kennel has step by step details on the future
As the story says, even Sony employees were caught off guard...
Bloomberg - Are you a robot?
Expect PlayStation games to make an appearance on the Xbox platform. No reason to get a PlayStation because there won't be systems moving forward (next next gen) so Sony has to hang on while it can. But eventually Sony is just it's handful of exclusives. I don't see how the PlayStation brand can exist by itself in the clouded future.
I picked this song for Sony's funeral...

but please keep trying, I love the tears of a sad clown
. No goal post shifting.. Console war has been generational. Don't resort to acting like Nostradamus to predict the future so you can claim a win. We are not there yet. What we can say today is that due to their performance this gen microsoft has thrown in the towel on physical consoles and are hinging their future business on Cloud gaming. Going forward it remains to be seen what effect that will have on the next gen, meanwhile Sony will be looking at doing both.
