Actually post release the game was received better than the original hate would have led you to believe. It was shallow and short, but a great foundation for a more fleshed out sequel.

If you're gonna talk about spinoffs gta has a couple of those too. Halo is fine and still has a large fanbase that would look forward to any announcment about future halo games.
