it's fukked up that all of those old people passed before their time, but we gotta remember that the odds of you dying from covid if your healthy & under the age of 50 is still EXTREMELY LOW.

it's not only about deaths.. young people are developing heart problems, needing lung transplants, getting amputated and etcetera.

i read a comment on a reddit covid thread a few months ago about how a 22 year old woman had a stroke when she had covid and went blind. this virus is messing with people in all kinds of ways.

If it's from reddit then it's rubbish. All they post on reddit is fake news

you can disregard that anecdote from reddit but everything else is can be confirmed through news reports.

So show me the news reports. Cause I know reddit is all bullshyt. They pluck an article form anywhere and ban you if you disagree.

Stop being emotional and step out your bubble. You're basically telling me you're weak.

I'm not weak. I don't go crying to the mods every time someone disagrees with me like some on the coli have dome to me. Stop watching and reading the news online. Observe your own surroundings and you'll see a clearer picture.

That's actually a way the worst way to gain perspective on anything. Case in point, passing by a couple funeral homes and observing the parking lot and coming to the conclusion that funeral homes haven't been busy. Your intuition will fail when you choose to give yourself tunnel vision.

Stop watching and reading the news online.

How you gonna say that and then post a tweet featuring Bill Maher in your very next post? :comeon:

And Bill Maher is far from an authority in anything related to science. Before the pandemic he was one of those idiots who thought it was a good idea to not vaccinate kids against measles because he believed in the measles vaccine autism connection.

Bill Maher ain't the news. He never spoke out against vaccines. The only things he speaks out against is when those in power or authority refuse to look into things and censor people. And I'm at work everyday with a lot of co workers interacting not only them but clients as well. Some of my co workers have gotten covid so I'm posting based on experience. I haven't seen but have spoken to folks who actually work in the hospitals too.
