Well we also have the highest population outside of China. But China is probably lying on top of the fact they can implement draconian procedures that would never fly under the worse circumstances in the US. They were welding people shut into their houses to prevent them from leaving. Harassing people with drones. Even throwing nets on people's heads like they were catching a beetle in animal crossing.
