I think people should be aware of wet markets and the danger of trafficking animals from around globe along with keeping them in unsanitary conditions has led to this. Let alone eating wild animals that are hosts of viruses such as bats.


I feel like focusing on the Chinese government or test labs removes the conversation away from that. Epidemiologists and environmentalists have been warning us for years regarding the potentional wet markets And the illicit animal trade can have in creating a pandemic.
