Moms had to have emergency surgery on 3/20, she was then sent to a nursing home first week of April for rehab, nursing home wasn't truthful about their numbers regarding residents with the virus that have been infected and died. We saw the numbers when the Connecticut governor released them last week, and now my father got the call last night that my mother has tested positive and is unresponsive on a ventilator. This shyt is hell on Earth, my mother hasn't been able to see any family for a month and is going to die alone, I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

My condolences, I rarely post unless I have some direct experience or knowledge to contribute but man......My heart goes out to you. Lean on any supports you can get and remember that grieving is hard, confusing, and entirely how you and yours experience it. There is no stages of grief and no magic acceptance at the end.

I am saying this so that as you and your family grieve you all don’t feel any pressure to “move on.” Wow, I am shaken by news like this. I can’t even begin to imagine a world without my moms.

Peroxide kills the virus after 1 minute, so I have spray bottles filled with it. Anything hat comes to the House gets sprayed and placed on floor for 2 minutes and then the contents are sprayed and put down before put away or read- for example mail. Be safe
