My brother in law is in Vegas right now, my wife just looked him up on her find my friends app :snoop:

Depending on what telly he staying at, the strip ain't as packed as people make it out to be. It's rumored that a lot of those people who showed up opening day were family and friends of execs in those casinos, staying for free. All for the cameras to entice people to come back.

I know someone who works at the Venetian/Palazzo. He said it's fukkin dead and only degenerate gamblers show up.

No clubs, no day parties, no sports.

If hospitals are completely overwhelmed. They will shut everything down again. New York type death rate for these southern states will kill even republican governors support.

Its the governor’s decision not the President. Economy going to shyt regardless.
There will never be an almost national level shutdown again. Targeted shutdowns are likely but only where the hotspot are. Republicans won't allow a national shutdown and Republicans hold enough power to see that through.

Breh what is the purpose of this post? Are you really trying to associate the protest with the spike in Houston? Did you even read the article he cited as "public confirmation"? Also please explain how other cities with mass protest aren't seeing the same spike. You my longhorn breh, but this ain't it.

Wave 2 will be devastating come this Fall. Hospitals at capacity already. Eventually this will go beyond just politics

Yeah, I 90% believe this virus was man made.

My brother in law is in Vegas right now, my wife just looked him up on her find my friends app :snoop:

I know someone going out there in a couple of weeks because the prices were "too good to pass up"

Nicca, the WHOLE YEAR has BEEN gone. Y’all gotta realize that this is the second inning of a nine-inning game with the possibility of extra innings. No parties, no trips, no nothing. Don’t get your hopes up because disappointment is here for you.

Next year is probably a wrap too if you read the tea leaves.

It's like having a season ending injury in the preseason :francis:

:gucci: What are you talking about? If these protests truly didn't contribute to the COVID-19 spike, what's stopping us from having other mass gathering outdoor events?

The U.S. never had a real national shutdown though. Individual states shut down themselves & last time I checked there were at least 7 states that never shut down.

Did they contribute, yes they likely did, are they the main driver, no they are not. Also if you participated in these protest then you would also know that mask usage was at least 90%. Also while you are protesting you are constantly moving so the viral load possibilities decrease as well. If you can have an outdoor event, require mask and be strict about it, and have some semblance of social distancing then I'm ok with it, but either you forgot to state that is the point you were trying to make in your first post or you are moving the goalpost entirely.

It's a touchy subject but if people think the protests didn't have an impact I don't know what to tell em. LA never really reopened yet spiking like crazy. Memorial Day weekend, protests, anti-lockdown protets:francis:
