Update on my cousin from italy who had it (in his 70s)

Suffering from paranoia anxiety and PTSD

He lost around 50 pounds during treatment

Any time he feels hot or any scratch in his throat or shortness of breath he freaks out

Weighs himself non stop

Hes a complete wreck. He called my mom in desperation for her to be with him (they grew up together over there) but she cannot go due to travel restrictions (unless she maybe uses italian passport but I dont even think there are flights there right now). Hes being urged to see a doctor get on some sort of anti depression or anxiety medication but is refusing. He may die of a stress induced heart attack and theres nothing we can do about it

Sorry to hear that about him. Is the paranoia he's experiencing related to the virus?

Mike Parson just totally missed the point on the school reopening debate - CNNPolitics
"These kids have got to get back to school," Parson told a conservative talk radio host. "They're at the lowest risk possible. And if they do get Covid-19, which they will -- and they will when they go to school -- they're not going to the hospitals. They're not going to have to sit in doctor's offices. They're going to go home and they're going to get over it."

The current Governor of the state I currently live the ignorance these Republicans must go period

like breh said above, this country don't treat schools as a place where kids go to get educated and learn skills/trades to help them be productive in life, but rather it's a place to have them go and waste 6-9 hours of their day. Public schools are daycares, allowing parents to go off to their dead end jobs to keep the system in place.

Muthafukking politicians don't care about kids or parents, just their seats and their lobbyists/donors' money...they can barely (if at all) hold in their contempt for people questioning the safety & morality behind their decisions, because there isn't any in them at all.

Trump keeps calling covid the Chinese virus LMAO

He is doing it to avoid blame at any cost. Even though, millions of Americans are getting infected. He keeps trying to pivot the blame instead of trying to tackle the pandemic and save lives.

He literally does not care about anyone but himself.

what a truly demonic individual.

:ohhh: Trump stupid but not that stupid. I understand now.

Country had two choices until a vaccine come:

1. Effectively shut the entire country down except for some real essentials.

2. Power thru and hope a miracle occur. Hundreds of thousands will die but hopefully a vaccine will arrive.
This isn’t true. If you shut down properly in the short term you can reduce the case load to the point contact tracing and testing can keep the virus in check. Other countries have done it.

The problem is the US wasted it’s shut down and now doesn’t want to go through another one to get it right.

If we had effective leadership it would have been done right the first time.

It's honestly not just a leadership issue. It's a civilian issue. Regardless if we had better leadership. This country is just full of bat shyt insane people.

Agreed, even if a person like Obama was in charge..we would be more prepared but at the end of the day..he's not gonna be able to control the Orange County crowd either. I predicted this very early on that they would wage a war against masks:snoop:
