I did get my cut cuz my barber is strict. He sanitizes everything and does not let anyone sit in with no masks. My other barber though he got bushed. I went there and 5 people were in there with no masks anf he had his mask on his chin. I looked inside and called him to tell him he lost me as a customer.

Yea, I don’t trust my barber to be strict like that. He been texting me but he:

1. never closed during the pandemic, not even when there was the mandatory shelter in place, not even for one day.
2. When he text me, I explained to him a couple people on my moms side of fam either died or went into a medically induced coma cuz of this shyt, and that i grocery shop for my grandma so I gotta be careful (I made that part up lol) ...

he didn’t offer condolences or mention anything about their safety practices regarding masks, social distancing etc.
So ima just assume they ain’t moving right.. I’m getting better at cutting my own shyt now so fukk it for the time being.

It definitely has more to do with racism and discrimination in health care. Look at all the vids white college students and trump supporters walking around and living like the virus doesn't exist. Cacs will always get preferential treatment at hospitals.

Probably community spread. Black people tend to congregate and live in the city. White folks seem to like to live in more rural areas. Large cities were getting devastated by this. I'm not saying it won't go through rural areas too but the spread it going to be much quicker and wider in large cities.

yesterday, I went to my hometown, which is the country, and no one was a wearing mask. My brother stopped at this gas station to get a soda, the gas station was pretty well populated yet I saw nobody (black and white) wearing a mask. I'm like, if y'all don't believe it then fine but at least wear a mask in public for other people.

Let me tell you this. Blacks are already discriminated against. Just our name our tone our voice make us victims of discrimination.

With all that shyt, they stilll out there ready to spend money on white businesses and wanna be ignorant. It kills me. Like we have no sense. Yes the young ones may not have it as bad but the same auntie and grandma that cook your thanksgiving meals are the same ones hetting killed by this shyt.

Reading this just fukked me up. I can’t imagine what it does to you actually living/breathing through these situations.

I appreciate you sharing. I wish the rest of the fukkin world could hear stories like this. Maybe it’ll change behaviors.

My COVID job getting me depressed and giving me PTSD. The dying part is easy to digest because you know what these people have been to. Tou are happy they are finally at peace.

The worst part is when they know they gonna die and they are fully aware. They cannot breathe. They are scared. They cant talk. They giving you messages for their family. They are asking themselves questions as to why they cannot get better. They tell you they will try anything. Then you have to tell them that is all you got.

A guy I gave drugs too is hunting me. Dude took the drug from my hand. At the time he was fully awake. He took it and prayed on it. He mentionned his family who depends on him. His mother he has to care for. He told me stories about how he almost got killed several times. We talked about life. He told me regrets he had and best moments of his life. At the time he was talking and on some oxygen. Then, out of nowhere, 2 days later he had a heart attack and died. shyt fukked me up when the nurses told me. He was 45.

Another one is a Spanish girl who is a black militant. She has only Black friends because she told me her Latino part of family was racist to her because was too tan. She has small kids. She was always facetiming the kids and telling them how to do this and that. She was getting them ready for eLearning. Then I heard she had clots in her lungs. She had to get intubated cuz her oxygen levels were crap. Before they put the tube down her throat, she cried and pussed herself cuz she was so scared. All her organs shut down. All of them. She in the worst shape I ever seen a. COVID patient. Now all her 3 kids gonna live with no mother. She is 42.

I am telling y all this to say protect y all selves. This virus is no joke. Do not be selfish. A strain that is harmless to you might be deadly to your family. Be wise.

Also FL is not counting anything. The amount of cases I have daily to evaluate is piled up.

This is a horrible position for you to be put in, but from what I have read it’s fortunate for a lot of those people you were at their side on their last moments. Salute.

indeed breh thank God for life. I will tell you the story is the same all over. I have many friends and family in the medical field and it’s almost near fact that black and brown people were practically left to die from this Covid shyt. Many stories about how some old sick white man would get all the extra attention by the nurse because they reminded him of their grandfather , but when a black patient needed help or meds they would get annoyed and ignore them.

We grew up believing that the level of care is giving equally to everyone. Then you learn that the level of care differs from insured to uninsured. Then you learn the level of care now varies by race. It’s cruel and horrible to know this. Regardless of what I say or feel about cacs on this site if I was doctor caring for patients I care for them equally. That lack of empathy I see is borderline evil. To have this responsibility over a person in the last moments in their life and to be so callous and uncaring is unforgivable. It’s a level of evil that I did not expect to exist within a community that I once believed dedicated itself to protecting and preserving life. Either way just know what you do is appreciated greatly.

Yea, I’m in Mass. I never heard about a mandatory vaccine. Not sure I’m down with that. Will probably wait a year before taking it.
