CDC director refutes Trump’s coronavirus advisor Scott Atlas: ‘Everything he says is false’

The head of a top U.S. government health agency gave a grim assessment of the coronavirus pandemic that contradicts that of President Donald Trump, saying “We’re nowhere near the end,” NBC News reported on Monday.

Robert Redfield, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, who has been rebuked by Trump for less-rosy assessments of the coronavirus recovery, also expressed concern that Trump’s late addition to the coronavirus task force, Dr. Scott Atlas, is sharing inaccurate information with the president.

“Everything he says is false,” Redfield said in a telephone call Friday on a plane from Atlanta to Washington, NBC reported.

say brehs, i went to finger lakes ny. to get out of my house and just stay in a cabin. didnt really go out anywhere just to grab bottles of wine.

i got back home and the last two nights ive had crazy night sweats soaking the bed. i cant find any info on if this is part of covid. but i was wondering if any of you knew. im starting to get anxious about it. i knew i shouldve stayed home.

Night sweats could be anything. Did you check your temperature? Do you have cough, runny nose, sore throat, headache, upset stomach or diarrhea? Any other symptoms?

My family members want to go back to church I done told my mom a million different times and it goes through one ear and out the other. She and my aunt so hardheaded for women who are in their fifties and sixties. There’s no difference between going to church now vs. when everyone else did it months ago. There’s no still no cure. I don’t understand why they can’t just watch a service online.
