The virus is mutating in different places across the globe because people haven’t received their first shots due to a lack of supply. If the west keeps hoarding vaccines for boosters then developing countries won’t be able to reduce infections.

it's because the goal has always been trash and unattainable

there's only one realistic vaccination goal; get to the point where everyone in the country can walk up to walmart or cvs and get the vaccine for free. we hit that point back in May

and that's it there IS no endgame after this. we're never gonna get everyone to take the shot, we're never gonna hit "zero covid"

I understand why it's important to get others vaccinated, I just didn't know that the booster was the same as the dose you get to get vaccinated in the first place
