Similar situation I had on base this morning. Took me roughly 3 hours to get through with the drive-thru test. Glad I got there around 6:30.. Line was 10x worse when I was leaving

i posted before that me and wifey been sick since Friday. We went and got tested and she was positive and I was negative. Well I went back today and this time was positive. Had a bad cold for like 4 days now but that’s it so far.

Woke up on New Year's Day to my lady saying she felt like shyt, and was going to go get tested, since there were a bunch of positives in her workplace.
shyt came back positive.
So far, she's had a cough, has almost lost her voice, and is really phlegmy. It's almost like she has strep throat.
So far, we've gather that her close coworker has been exposed (has since tested positive), three of my friends that live together since I kicked it at their house late on new year's eve, and her mother, who's starting to show symptoms. Somehow, I seem to be alright, and have just had a slightly runny nose. She's fully vaccinated and boosted, and I just got my booster on Tuesday. I seriously don't want to see what this is like for unvaccinated folks. The paranoia over who we've exposed alone is torture enough.
I'm going through this now, phlegm in the back of my throat making me cough and my voice is hoarse
