Why shouldn't we be? We live in a globalized society with constant biological threats all around us. Each moment of existence is uncharted territory. We don't what new threats loom ahead of us. The best we can do is prepare. Bottom line is we shouldn't have set ourselves at a disadvantage. The rapid spread of this virus was totally preventable. China for all its faults gave us the blueprint to stopping the spreadm Rapid testing and strict quarintines.
