So far they said they are at home recovering. But each checkpoint has about 20-25 workers between shifts and people have days off so this person could have infected a lot of people. Plus in that particular building we share a break room with 3 other checkpoints. Hopefully it don’t become something big

The government literally has Fema and the army core of engineers who are there to do much of this work. Hell in tandem with the military they have one of the biggest and best logistic systems in the world.

Its just dumb ass hell that the governors have to step in and resolve this while the national government sits there and twists their thumbs.

The issue is the hospitalization rate putting stress on our health care system, we wont be able to treat all of the people who need ventilators and others with medical conditions that need intensive care thus hundreds of thousands could die. I didn't say they shouldn't do anything, just that states have learned that waiting for the federal government to act rather than taking action themselves is only an option if you want to worsen the situation. It's about leadership and preparedness now. governors are standing out and a comparison is and will be made of their response to this crisis.
