That’s how we are right now. Wouldn’t say we are empty, but all the direct admissions, scheduled procedures for quick overnight stays, etc. All that is out the window so it’s a lot of bed space at the moment. Trying to reserve space for the worst to come. This was done in part because we were always at capacity before now anyway and we wouldn’t have been able to support a large influx of super sick people at once. Not to say that we will be able to if this gets much worse

same at my hospital
day surgery, operating rooms, patient appts etc. have been cancelled
only er, dialysis, cardiology, maternity ward, pallative and our covid centers are really running
