Out here in my damn drawls
I honestly think if things open back up people are "scared" and worried enough they will take precautions

Nah
People are too stupid

Yesterday I picked up food from a Japanese restaurant

Clear instructions were telling people to call and the food would be brought out to your car

There were about 10 people huddled up in front of the door after they realized it was locked

They all deliberately walked around the huge sign with instructions blocking the door and taped off area to pull on the door handle

The guy literally had to shoo them away from the door so they could bring out food

I was sitting in the car like :gucci:

And folk in here complaining about opening things up. If the lockdown continues for months, the virus will just be an afterthought. Societal collapse in a country that has the most guns in the world. Avoid that at all costs.
Can't disagree with this but unless people feel safe, the economy is going to keep suffering even if we open things back up. Especially if there is a resurgence. This is why Trump if he wants to get praise and do something positive needs to be pushing for more and more testing and also massive anti-body testing. If people can get a test telling them they are good, they will be more likely to engage in stimulating the economy and going to work.

Why isn't any energy being used to do this ?

Buy some MSG. People think it’s bad for you but it’s not at all. It’s the secret ingredient in everything delicious. Potatoes, meat, veggies anything savory. I buy big containers of it at the restaurant supply store.

The whole fallacy of MSG being harmful was a racist ploy by white restaurant owners when Chinese restaurants took off.

they sell MSG? didn't know that :ohhh:

but whatever i do it's nothing like what i'm used to eating. i'm just a lousy cook when it comes to asian cuisine:francis:

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
I'll be happy when the barber shop opens back up. I've considered cutting my own hair (it's a simple fade 1 1/2 on top, 1 on the sides) however I have a feeling that I'd end up looking like Yul Brynner from The 10 Commandments.

Even if that means partially opening things back up, it has to be done. As far as stores and public transportation, people should still wear face masks. Trains and buses should be sanitized at their final destination before heading back out. That may be harder for buses. Restaurants can maintain social distancing but tables need to be wiped down after use. Some fast food places may need to restrict the use of those new self serve stations for drinks. It'll be a pain in the ass, but it has to be done because shyt will not be pretty if this goes on through the summer.

take the spain model everyone who boards a train or bus are handed a mask
