let him post this shyt

basically he’s saying 60k deaths total, no more....when we are pretty much already at 40k deaths today

let’s see how ALL of these posts look a little while from now

People aren’t objecting to the info posted its the fact that he’s posting Clay Travis.
Clay Travis’ rise to popularity centered largely on hatred of Colin Kaepernick and wanting to maintain Confederate statues and monuments. His following is basically white supremacists.
Despite having no medical expertise he became a leading voice online of the viewpoint that Covid probably wouldn’t kill more than a dozen people and that anyone taking it seriously was a “p*ssy”.
Since then he has continually moved the goalposts every time he has been proven wrong.

I was reading about the spread of 1918 pandemic on the US. The parallels with covid19 is crazy

How the Horrific 1918 Flu Spread Across America | History | Smithsonian Magazine

Excerpt

People knew this was not the same old thing, though. They knew because the numbers were staggering—in San Antonio, 53 percent of the population got sick with influenza. They knew because victims could die within hours of the first symptoms—horrific symptoms, not just aches and cyanosis but also a foamy blood coughed up from the lungs, and bleeding from the nose, ears and even eyes. And people knew because towns and cities ran out of coffins.

Is this true?

Possible. But again this is modelled based on social distancing measures being followed. The line represents a projection and the shaded areas are margin of variation that can occur either based on error or just not following proper mitigation.

So, given people want to reopen in May, that may fukk up the projections. :francis:
