So basically in another 40 days. June or so we should be okay to ease lockdown. People here just need to be patient and possibly another stimulus check could go along way. People here are so use to do as they please that I think it will take longer to drop.

He wasn't a "traditional" member of establishment and seemed to play by his own rules. This system was broken af before he got elected, so I didn't think it could be much worse than it already was . I never believed that he was a billionaire, but I also never imagined that he was such an idiot, nor a such a staunch believer in white supremacy. He had more of a democratic background from what I had known of him. I knew he was easily swayed and hoped that if the right people got in his ear, maybe some good could come from his being elected. I wanted Bernie because he's the one person that's ever ran that I would like to believe couldn't be bought, so for a somewhat similar reason, I wanted to hope that Trump being somewhat of an outlier could be a good thing. But instead we got this version of him, which is just a weak, insecure, entitled, failed businessman, that's trying to snake his way into the old boy's club, not realizing that he'll never have a seat at the adult table, no matter how much he bends over and tries to please them.

don't know what's going on where you are but i just came from running a few errands and people are out. garden stores were packed along with alotta other places. nobody's staying inside for 40 more days hoping for a stimulus check that probably aint coming
