I know so many people from So-Cal that went out to Scottsdale these last few weeks cause they was fiending to get out and hit bars and shyt
Not excusing the lack of direction from the who. I agree they are coming off like they don't know what the fukk is going on.
But people need to realize there is going to be contradictory information coming out as they learn more about it because ..it's new. You're not going to get a full picture or all the information about it at the very beginning because it takes time and multiple avenues of research to find out how this shyt works.
We won't know the full effects of this virus for a few years I bet. I mean we don't even know what the long term effects of it because...that just comes with time. They are finding out various stuff about it constantly. A CDC study a few weeks ago just proved that for some people, the virus is breaking the blood brain barrier and causing things like encephalitis. Takes time to find this information out.
But individuals have their own brain. If you decide you aren't going to take precautions then that's on you. Not the who. Nothing is stopping you from wearing a mask except yourself. I've been wearing a mask and personally minimizing contact as much as possible on my own still. Not waiting for The WHO to tell me what to do. I agree you need leadership and consistent messaging to get more people own board. But folks in these thread seem pretty independent minded so I don't think you need to wait on the WHO to determine what right course of action you need to personally take.
