COVID-19: Straight Answers from Top Epidemiologist Who Predicted the Pandemic - Blue Zones

Good article here. Can’t hide from the virus. Get your physical condition right, it’s the most important step you can take as this thing spreads to the majority of the population at some point. Shutdowns don’t matter. Distancing doesn’t matter. You will come in contact with it at some point. It will infect 60-70% of the population no matter what you try to do. Eat right, sleep right, get exercise, lose weight, lower your bp and blood sugars, supplement and prepare your body for when you eventually get it
You just went and found some confirmation bias

I read the whole article and didn't come out with this same conclusion.

How can you say the shutdowns didn’t matter when the entire point of the shutdown was to prevent our medical system from becoming overwhelmed?
At a personal level, none of that matters. You will encounter the virus, and likely get it, at some point in the next couple years. Get your body prepared

At personal level :dahell:

If the medical system is not functioning people can’t get the help and treatment they need for anything

so people dying and being sick doesn’t affect you at a personal level?

who wants to be sick?

get your body prepared :mindblown:

No one wants to be sick. The reality is you can’t avoid the virus, and society has to learn to live with it. Bulk of the NYC infections were folks at home. You can do everything by the book, and still come in contact with it eventually. It’s the sobering reality. So yes, physically prepare for it under the assumption you will contract it

This is not true.

If you want to downplay the seriousness of the virus, but stop spreading misinformation.
