Chilled me to the bones. Stay home.

He was overweight and had diabetes. Prime candidate to get taken down by the virus. He definitely was irresponsible, but RIP nonetheless.

I’m focusing on the deaths, we know there will be spikes in cases, but as long as the death rate doesn’t match and continues to trend downwards overall, Better days are ahead.

Click on the article in the tweet and look at the number of people recovering.

Florida:

190,052 cases
33,841 recovered

Don't you find that concerning?

So you saying only those with pre existing conditions are affected?

Tell me why this swimmer kid is now in need of supplemental oxygen.

Breh take your risks and think whatever you want. This virus is more co.plicated than we could even imagine.

For Florida, it’s a bit high but only about 2% have died out of that 190K, and you have well over 100K that have no status yet.

Where did I say only people with pre-existing conditions are only affected? My younger cousin who is healthy caught covid and recovered recently. I said THAT Individual in the article was high risk already and made the stupid decision to attend a gathering.

You implied that he is high risk.

As of now everybody is high risk. You may catch a strain that is mild and then you think you are safe since you are asymptomatic. Then you catch another strain that is deadlier which gives you the hard combo.

Its not a matter of being healthy anymore. Its about which strains you catch. The strain out there is showing us heat and nothing else matters. Also it does not kill as much but the effects are devastating.

I saw a guy with a 68% oxygen saturation and he was talking like it was nothing. Then next day he was intubated. Now he needs to be prone and ventilated. This is the danger of the disease.

There is no such thing as high risk group anymore. Its all about which strain gets to you.

One of my friends caught it back in April and even now his ears are still ringing and his feet get really hot. Plus he gets exhausted quickly. Fever on and off. This is a 25 year old kid healthy and lean who plays basketball at the park daily and is a gym rat with no medical history.

:hubie:Fair point, all I said is I’m looking at the death rate, less than 5% of deaths nationwide, if it continues to trend in that direction, I think that’s a good sign. If it starts trending towards 10%, then shyt isn’t getting any better. In Georgia, we only had 7 related covid deaths yesterday that was reported.

Because this is a message board where you discuss things. Not a place to get your facts. :gucci:

So you get your facts from a governor that did not know an airborne disease could travel by air? Or do you selectively apply the meassage board tag to things that do not support your MAGA anti science dubious views?
