Looks like another high day on the horizon with California and Texas not reporting yet and already in the 500s.

Damn, so much for yesterday being a holiday back log..

I notice California and I think Texas report multiple times a day. Right now may not be California's final numbers for the day.

The numbers from TX and FL make no sense...

My guess is, if a person has COVID and a pre-existing condition they're not counting that as a COVID death...

There are reports that what happened in NYC during April where people were dying at home is happening in places like Houston now. You know that TX of all places isn't going to do the extra tests to see if this person was covid positive. That shyt isn't going to get counted. If I remember correctly, even NYC was inconsistent in doing it themselves, so you know Texas cities aren't even going to bother.

There is a noticeable increase of at-home deaths recently. Probably can make a good guess what is the cause.

Track Trends in COVID-19 Cases and Tests
SHARE THIS PAGE:

These charts lay out the key metrics for understanding the reach and severity of COVID-19 in a given area: number of new daily cases, tests per 100,000 people (testing rate), and percentage of tests that are positive (positivity rate).

As testing capacity increases, considering confirmed new cases, testing rates, and percent positivity together gives us a fuller picture of COVID-19 in a particular state or region. Under these conditions and stable testing practices, trends in daily cases can be cautiously interpreted as trends in transmission of the virus. Leaders can then make informed decisions about lifting social distancing and other transmission control measures.

This is anecdotal, but I've mentioned I'm a presumed case and one thing that has been making me feel better is laying out in the sun. Again if I do have it, it's been about a week and really just been headache and body aches. But if anyone has it and can safely lay out, may be worth a shot
